  • The person in charge of the group commits to explain and remind the users of the radio system of the rules of use and good maintenance of the material, which are explained in the document included in the bag.
  • The person in charge of the group commits to verify at the moment of the return or collection of the material that all material is returned in the original good condition and quantity.
  • If recharging, collection, and redistribution of the radios are required during one or more days, the responsible of the group commits to follow the good conduct of recharging and maintenance also provided in the document included in the bag.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Verify how many people are actually in the group.
  • Recommend to the participants the good use of the material.
  • Inform the group to be careful to insert the headphone into the earphone socket and not into the bottom of the radio (see photo below).
  • Inform the group not to use or play with the back part of the radio and use the string instead to hang it around their neck.
  • Inform the group to be careful when using the buttons on the front part of the radio.
  • In case of rain, remind participants to keep the radio under their coat to prevent it from getting wet.
  • Remind people to turn off the radio during breaks.
  • When picking up the radios, go from person to person. Having the radios given to you in a group prevents you from understanding if something has been lost and avoiding confusion.
  • In case of reusable earphones (black colour). Do not throw away the reusable earphone, it can be reused by future groups (thoroughly disinfected) for ecological reasons.
  • If possible, make a list of participants to note who gave the radio back at the time of delivery and collection.
  • When you pick up the radio, hang them on your arm to avoid knots. Tie the radios together in groups of 5 or, when one of our black bags is used, insert each radio inside the specific pocket.
  • Count the radios before the participants of the guided tour leave to check if something is missing.
  • If any material is missing, immediately check with the participants or the person in charge of the group.
  • If the group keeps the radios for several days, the person in charge (tour leader or group manager) will charge them regularly with the magazines specially placed in the bag. Please be careful to insert the cable into the bottom of the radio, and not into the earphone socket (see photo below). If you have charged the radio and a red light does not appear immediately, try changing the cable. If the red light that appears on the radio screen turns off, it means that the radio has stopped charging.

  • For the delivery of the radios, once the visit (or tour) is finished, please refer to the meeting place marked at the bottom of the document in the bag.

Radio operation

The radio turns on with ON/OFF. The left figure is the volume, the right figure is the channel. To change the channel, press SET (or CONF) for a few seconds, change the digit and press FUN to save the new channel.

The same goes for the guide’s emitter.

Thank you for your collaboration!
